Teething...woa, woa, woa, teething...

Skye turned 5 months old on the 20th and she keeps reaching new milestones. She can now roll from her back to her tummy all by herself and does it every chance she gets. This means that we have to be ever watchful when she's on the change table! She really likes to roll onto her side and look over the edge. And as you gathered from the title of this blog, she is teething. She grabs whatever is within reach and shoves it into her mouth with such gusto. Toys to her are ok, but she prefers my fingers, my hair and my nose. She also sticks her foot in her mouth (literally) and chews on her toes. Ah, to be that flexible! I wonder when that first tooth is going to show itself.

I have been enjoying watching the Olympics over the past couple of weeks. It's fun to have 2 countries to cheer for. And seeing Michael Phelps make history was pretty cool, too. It's nice to be within a couple hours of Bejing time as well - I don't have to stay up late to see the events.

Skye and I are getting prepared for our first overseas trip together! We will be going to the States from November 10-24 to visit family and friends. Skye now has both her Australian and American passports, so now all I have to do is organize what I need to bring. By the way, the new American passports are stunning! I can't wait to get mine renewed next year! We're looking forward to our trip, but a little anxious about being on a plane for so long. Fingers crossed we won't have any major meltdowns. That's about all - here are some photos from her 4th month.
